You look so peaceful.

Beautiful, serene and so pure.

I can't take my eyes off you.

As you fall in a deep slumber.

Tossing and turning a little

To hold me tighter in your arms.

I see the colours on your face change

as you dream on

soft little curls fall over your eyes

Veiling your face from mine.

And then you whisper something

I try to understand so hard.

You open your eyes and kiss me.

What a beautiful night it was..

What's missing!

You finished top of your class

Getting straight As throughout.

Got the job others are jealous of.

Big pay ending each month in your account.

Honeymoon in Bahamas

Holidays in Cape town.

Penthouse in the city.

Porsche parked underground.

But sitting each year at the Thanksgiving table

You ask yourself, whats wrong?

You're happy, you're blessed

Then whats holding you down?
