I wish I could blame you

For all the things that went wrong with us.

Its partially your fault, but largely mine.

I made a pitstop where you permanently reside.

I was in a transition

An important phase of life.

Learning to love, trust and commit

While you had all your priorities aligned.

I never intended to let go

But you pulled the threads too tight

The yarn ball kept rolling off

Till I fell of the radar completely.

So much wasted time

Crying, dreaming, promising

No use wondering what could have been.

It would have happened if it was meant to be.
