I can count down the days on my fingers.

Down to each hour we spent apart.

Each teardrop wasted in your name.

Every letter I wrote and torn.

Six winters without your cuddles

Six summers without your laugh

Six storms without your shoulder

Six years of broken heart.

I don't recall an angry argument.

Or issue unresolved.

No fights or quarrels or abuses

That we hurled across.
